Medium/loose. I used to skate medium/tight, but then my trucks loosened and I couldn't tighten them and I loved it. I like them tight too, it's really hard to choose.

I ride mine medium....feels good like that...except when my bearings dont cooperate!!!! lol

Medium for me. If mine are too tight then the bushing starts to pop out and the trucks get all messe up.

As Tight as possible, Having tight trucks eliminates wheelbite, those little marks where your wheels are on your board, and when you have loose trucks, setting up for a kickflip is like a balancing act

after i get used to my board and get a good balance, i turn off the stability and loosen them up pretty good. I love it like that, i can carve really well but i have a bit of the wheel-biting-deck problem, I need to find bigger risers then =P

WHAT HE SAID, i keep 'em loose, but i used to have thunders, and eventually they just got so loose the screw thing got stripped and they kept falling off, and when ur stuck miles away from home without tools its not very fun. that never happened with my Krux though.

loose...I didnt really meant to get it that loose but once i was riding it the nut came off my kingpin...and i didnt have the tool then...(which i am glad to have now...) so i just screwed it back with my finger...so i am guessing that's real loose..

and i really like the feeling...it was kinda shaky at first but now i really love riding it loose...tighten ones kinda feel weird now lol

Admittingly I ride closer to Medium/Tight, like I can still turn by leaning, but I like it to feel solid, sometimes though, if Im sticking on crooked grinds a bit, I will loosen the front truck a bit, but thats about it.

Also I always have the back truck just a bit tighter then the front. (for turning)

yeah i switched from tight to loose because i was always tic tacking and it looked really bad. so i got a new pair of trucks, the fury penny trucks, and i just didnt touch them, i left them as loose as they were and now i dont tic tac after i land

ahahahahah ....I would like to see you people saying tight all the way bomb a REAL hill if they are tight then u cant turn...and speed wobble only comes from having crappy balance... just an honest word of advice...IF YOU LEARN TO RIDE LOOSE IT WILL BE AWKWARD AT FIRST IF YOU LIKE TIGHT TRUCKS< I SKATE MINE LOOSE, I SKATE INDYS AND THE KINGPIN DOESNT STICK OUT ABOVE THE NUT AT ALL, and i bomb massive hills, i also ollie medium sized stairs.. 10-13, and i do lots of gaps and flip tricks so, truthfully its better loose ... after u skate loose for a while your balance will improve a lot. and u wont like tight trucks anymore, for example ...say u backside flip a 10 stair, but you land a little sketchy, if your trucks are tight u will die, if they are loose you wont die.

here's a new on for you guys......tight front trucks for for stability when landing or riding switch and for any nose grind variations and the back trucks medium/loose for good turning control and better balance...that' how i ride

My back truck is very tight, for getting into rail and caspers easier. And my front truck is very loose for carving and other long board stuff. By the way, it is very very hard to do longboard tricks on a 31" single kick.

I voted medium, but really it depends which board I'm riding and what I'm doing. My longboard is almost always loose. My popsicle stick is almost always tight and my old school set-up is usually somewheres in-between.

With my old skateboard I had them loose, then when I got my new one on X-Mas I kept them tight.

i like mine medium/tight cuz its better when ur doing gaps...and its less tiring.but if its for cruising i prefer medium/loose.

loose are the best, they are actually better for landing tricks. if you're falling to the side off balance you can sorta lean and not fall over.

I tighten them alot when I get new ones and don't touch them afterwords so they loosen up to a confortable medium.

Normally they are at a medium tightness, but with virginia weather going from hot to freezing so often i've been have to loosen/tighten them a lot lately.

when i sk8 loose trucks it feels like i have way more control over the board it takes a lil gettin use to but other than that its great also it gives lee way for error like tight trucks you really cant lean to much when landing or youll fall

Meduim tight works best for me. Tighter trucks are easier to land tricks, and meduim gives it some space to turn. So, i use medium tight.

medium, closer to tight. Makes it easier to flip, because it doesn't give in as much, and you dont wobble when you set up for a trick or land.

the thing with the loose trucks and cant control speed: her is what i do. i have the one in front a bit tight so i can ride fast, but the back loose so i can do varial heelflips easier, or ollie manuals or just simple kickflips

Deffenitly go with tight. You can bust a lot more tricks I think and you can ollie higher. Over time tough my trucks tend to to get looser the more I ride. So over time just let them loosen. You can also just pivot to move.
