anyone dear to explain what this shark week thing is? tv show? whats it about?

Shark Week is an annual special on the Discovery Channel where for a week (usually around July/August) , all the shows (usually the primetime slots) are all shark themed. Some of Discovery's shows are then asked to do a special regarding sharks -Mythbusters doing shark myths, Dirty Jobs doing shark-related jobs, etc. Oh and of course the staple, documentaries.
