This is the Learners Game of Skate re-union and junk. Come in for a chat and a casual game of skate. All men women and tranny's are welcome.

I've PM'd everybody I could think of but if I haven't you're still welcome.

Normal rules apply but with added footplants, so all tricks are on the cards, boneless's and No-comply's included. There must be roll away, and minimal toe drag. Main point of this is to have fun and catch-up with each other.

The game will begin once everybody checks in and confirms their participation. I don't mind people coming in midgame as long as it's in the first set or two. After that your stuck out. Order will be shuffled in a hat.

Usual crap. I can't think of anything else to say. This thread will be the discussion thread and I'll make a tricks thread when we begin.

I've been visiting my mom here in Va Beach for about a week now. Yesterday, went out to Mt. Trashmore skate park, snapped the board on one of the boxes. So now, I'm boardless until Saturday, which is when I can go home and replace my deck (I have about 7 left).

Swordman, it's amazing how much you learn in these things. You just have that extra motivation to push you into landing things you couldn't be bothered learning before.

And Cris, Saturday's fine. It'll give BlackLabel and Flipeymagey a chance to log on.

Someone set varial heelflips then! I'm so close to them, but never had motivation, cause I wanted to make my heelflips higher before learning them. However, I expect to be out first =X

I bloody hate rails. Grinding on coping is so much safer. I've got a shoking ecperiance boardsliding. Long story short I got cocky and landed with the middle of my back on the very end of the rail. Mass bruising. I'm too scared to try them again.

Amen brother, but instead of my back, think of it as my ribs and my head :( massive ownage. Never skating rails until my boardslides and 50-50s are 100%. Til then, boxes are the way to go, or miniramp copings ^_^

My favourite trick in bowls is an early nose-grab lien air to tail. The biggest rush when you actually get it.

Boxes aren't so bad. I'm getting alright at waxed curbs too (slappy style!). I know their lame and all but doing a 180 to fakie 50 50 then a pivot out is a hella styling trick.

My grammer goes to hell on the net. It gets to the point where even I don't know what the f I just said.

boxes are great, but i hate rails, i tried a pop shuv lipslide and was not in anyway ready for it. i feel back and hit all back on the rail. anotehr time i was trying to smith it and i put to much weight forward facing and i shot my board out and landed ribs on rail. coping is much better indeed

Once you get fakie fs shove its, fakie fs bigspins take like 20 minutes to learn. Try to get them 270 and pivot first, it's a LOT easier.

Just set man, we'll ahve more time to match. =)

Yay for the motivation if you do.

I don't know how it works but I'mm so close to a tre. I landed one with both feet the other day with my front foot right up on the nose and my back foot just behind my front trucks. I'm so stoked.

Kickflips are soooo much harder to do than tres. I reckon I'm probably doing them wrong.

i think im gonna make a how to kickflip video, cuz i have this technique it has helped all my friends get their kickflips cleaner

RobbySkateboard can triple heel but he cant single heel. It depends on the person. You match the trick WITH THE SAME TRICK...not that hard of a concept.

I went to a guys sleepover and stayed up the entire night

and guess what
massive hip and knee ownage, and shoes got ripped so i had to buy new ones

All of my worst stacks have been when I've been skating the whole day and I'm too tired to focus but still wanted to skate. I hung up on an axle stall on a vert mini and I fell almost to the flat landing on my shoulder. T'was epicly tight! Haha.

Hey guys. My router stopped working Sunday morning before I went off to church, so I wasn't able to get online/upload the video to youtube. I just got back from Best Buy and purchased a new Linksys. If it's alright, it's being processed as we speak, because I definitely had it filmed Saturday before I took my mom out.

What foot placement have you got? Post a video of that alone incase you're doing something horribly wrong. This trick to this trick (lol) is foot placement and centre of gravity. No strength and no skill.

Just the guts to commit, the balence to keep the board under you and the foot placement to get the right spin.

Try moving youyr back foot closer to your nose. If you put your back foot in the middle of the board and your front foot in the pocket the only spinning problem you'll have is overspin.
