Ask your father, or do as I've done in the past. Just make ghetto ramps. Make random stuff out scraps of wood and nails. Honestly the best way to get better at making your own ramps, is make your own
joe1206 08-14-2008, 06:45 PM I want a ramp lol i like the first one lol its cool
fallenNJzero 08-14-2008, 06:49 PM hey i could help you man. im actually pretty good at building stuff. youd probably need, one maybe 2 just to be safe plys. then grab maybe 3-5 two by fours. then some screws. then just pm me later haha. sorry too lazy to finish
spyboy1o1(DL) 08-14-2008, 06:54 PM you should know this stuff fallen if your going to do your company
STLOUISCHAMPS 08-14-2008, 08:27 PM i build kickers, to do so i get a pallet put plywood over i put stuff under one side then put a piece of plywood slanted on off the other side so its a ramp
SkateThrash 08-14-2008, 08:57 PM Its not hard. Get some plywood and 2x4's measuer it out. make a rectangular frame, add legs. make another frame. put plywood on top. And did you take random videos from youtube? because that second one is blankboard22's from the cafe lol.
jakedaskater 08-14-2008, 09:11 PM Give ya boy some credit! That was me in the first video!
heartagram695 08-15-2008, 02:12 PM ^yes jake was in the first video and blankboard22 was the second one. sorry i didnt say that earlier :D and ok like i said im totally dumb in the ways of woodworking so....whats a 2 by 4? i have heard people talk about them all my life and i have no idea what one looks like :D
SkateThrash 08-15-2008, 02:50 PM ha wow. its a piece of wood, 2 inches by 4 inches. google that ****.
ForumSkater 08-16-2008, 02:29 AM Just use an old coffee table or something and plywood for the landing

Damn, If I had AutoCAD I'd just whip you up some plans real fast.
2x4's are long peices of wood two inches thick and 4 inches wide (I think they come like 12 feet long or so). Get a good amount of those, get some sheets of plywood. (You'll want 1/2 inch or thicker). Measure things out and just make a rectangular frame. Screw in plywood on the top. It's pretty basic.
SkateThrash 08-16-2008, 02:55 AM How long are you planning on making it? And how tall?
heartagram695 08-16-2008, 06:06 PM im planning on making it about 10-12 feet long and 3-4 feet high.
SkateThrash 08-16-2008, 06:09 PM Draw out some plans.

ok thanks for that dude. any idea on how much this would cost total approximately?
SkateThrash 08-16-2008, 06:11 PM Not sure, go around construction sites and ask if they have any spare wood.

The Beard 08-25-2008, 01:31 PM Switch Ketchup?
heartagram695 08-25-2008, 10:28 PM ^lulz. dude i just switch ketchuped that gap! im gonna go back and film a mustard next week!
Just a ledge, dude all you need to make is a box....??
Heck make it ghetto, just take some bricks/cement blocks put them in a square then take like 4 pieces of plywood and put it on top of it, to make a table thing, and you can prop it up, just by adding more cement blocks.
Its what I have right now in my basement and outside my house, I just make all this ghetto ****, then get some plywood pieces and put them on the ground as a run up...
I have all this junk right now, some banks, kickers, grind rails, and a box or two.
That's until I finish my mini ramp/bank to bank w/a grind rail setup me and my friend are building...
