Just concentrate on getting it higher like you said.
And make sure you land on the bolts, and try and get both your trucks to land at the same time instead of the back touching down first.

like McMega said it would be perfect if the board was level while flipping. also no tick tacks at the end :D

Seriously now, you need to :

- get them higher (by putting more of your front foot on the board and sliding it further to the nose) ;
- get them to level (same thing) ;
- no ticktacks after you land ;
- SPEED ;
- and most importantly, skate somewhere else (sort of goes hand in hand with the previous observation), a trick done in an cramped alley like that, or a driveway, garage or any kind of cramped place can't and will never be butter, because you can't get speed or anything, it kills your style, especially when you're trying to stay in the shot of a camera.

That or you could choose not to worry at all and even mob the hell out of them, I don't know.

Why skate your driveway ? I know a lot of kids on this forum skate their driveway, or the street in front of their house, or their garage, but I never really understood why. They learn a bunch of flatground tricks there and never bother searching for more. Don't you have actual spots ?

Like everyone said, catch them level, I hate it when people catch kickflips so that the back truck hits first.

I remember skating my driveway all the time....
If you just keep on your board something good will happen.
I found a family that started a skate shop and now I am working at the park we started last year. I just kept to it and eventually got out of the driveway.
