hey i really want a grinding rail but my dad won't let me get one. i want to build one but i dont know how. do you know how to build one out of objects that most people will have?

Instead of building a rail you could build a box. If you was to search google it would give you plenty of plans, and they are not very expensive/hard to make. If you want a rail... don't buy it. It's a ****ing rip off. I'm assuming you don't know how to weld so it would be hard for you to make one, but maybe you have other family who can weld. If not do what I did when I was younger, take a 2x4 and put angle iron on both sides. Then prop it up however you feel would work. Don't go out buying any rails though.
