View Full Version : where to go from here...
naddylight 10-01-2008, 08:35 PM sorry if these threads annoy people but i'm at a loss, got my kicks and heels consistent, my varials around 7/10 on an average day, not sure where to go from here. i was thinking tres, but adding an additional spin to my varials being my only goal might get a lil boring :icon_snif
thanks in advance
Derrick14 10-01-2008, 08:39 PM then work on twisted flips, switch flips or fakie varials
honestly, why did you bother to make this thread. My ENTIRE life goals in skateboarding were completed this summer, I landed a 720 flip.
Tell me where to go from here!
skatewillthee 10-03-2008, 01:04 AM switch flips or varial heel
R Heng 10-03-2008, 01:26 AM suprised no one has said this, but i would go for tres. But tres were one of the tricks i wanted to learn since i started skating so maybe i was overly anxious to learn them...
walkingcarpet 10-05-2008, 05:29 PM tre's
and everything switch lol
Brokenbones 10-05-2008, 06:09 PM work on some grinds, hit some sets? honetly where do you wanna go from here, thats what the question should be.
DECKHEAD 10-09-2008, 04:44 PM don't ask us, skateboarding is an individual sport
but since you did, tres, double flips and fakie/switch/nollie stuff
bayman89 10-11-2008, 03:13 PM learn every verryation of shuvits
fs shuvit
bs shuvit
nollie fs shuvit
nollie bs shuvit
late shuv it
nollie late shuvit
etc
Mr Sketch 10-12-2008, 12:11 AM i agree with everyone.
tres and learn your current tricks in nollie, switch, and fakie.
Kickerflip55 10-15-2008, 03:02 AM Get basic rotation flip tricks like half cab kickflips and half cab heels and then learn some switch tricks
swordman540 10-15-2008, 08:02 AM Always make sure you have all the basics before continueing. Okay well that's just my advice, make sure you have 180s both directions down and all stances, shoves all direction all stances, kicks and heels (you have ), and so you can get FS heelflips, FS flips, BS heelflips, BS flips, Varial heels and kicks, Treflips, 360 shove its, bispins, etc. Endless possibilities after all the basics are mastered
consilience 10-18-2008, 10:41 PM 50-50 or boardslide. if u've never done them, grinds/slides are a lot of fun.
SonnyT 10-21-2008, 12:07 AM try some freestyle dude
when i get bored working on varials i just work on primo's, truck flips and the like.
Don't have the balls to try those handstand flips though
...yet <_< >_>
STLOUISCHAMPS 10-21-2008, 12:54 AM work on tricks in the differerent stances(nollie, switch, fakie)
mcfadden!! 11-08-2008, 06:21 PM try skating different stuff like if you skate stairs than try to skate a pool or vice versa, try goofy weird tricks that no one else can do. try impossibles (my favorite). try inward stuff, its up to u
idk but the cool thing about skating is that "there isnt a point where youll wake up and say, theres nothing left to do, everythings been acomplished, theres no point to skate anymore, that will never be" - daewon
i think thats what he said :-)
<DN:)
Cpt.M@tthewGnar 11-08-2008, 06:22 PM just go, no direction.
