Me and my dad have just made a quarter pipe out of scrap wood.

I still need to paint it and also add a coping.

I'll post some more pictures when it is completely finished.

If you want a plan just ask.

Don't leave it outside, because that oriented strand board (OSB) doesn't play well with water. Other than that it should be pretty good once you get some coping on there. I suggest adding a little bit of a top deck behind the coping (at least like 9 - 12 inches).

Yeah my friend built a quarter pipe just like that. How much did it cost you to make? And if you got the scrap wood for free, where from?

It was free but it was stuff that my grandpa and my dad had in their back gardens, however the under part of the ramp was sterling board which was like £15 from a sheet and I think you and get the ply wood and the 4x2s pretty cheap from any sort of wood company. Think my dad got most of the wood from Rembrand.

Adding up everything about £35.

The water that runs on the surface of the pavement might still cause some trouble. If you keep it in the grass it may still be a problem because some soils drain slow. Just giving you the heads up; wouldn't want to ruin a nice quarter pipe.

Yeah, it's a tarp made out of pollen. ;) -jk

Nice ramp! Looks a lot better than the one I tried to build.

I will wrapped it all around it so the water will not be able to get in through the pavement either, so thanks for the heads up.
