That's what I heard.
I helped my friend re-build and re-surface his ramp with plywood, it's in his backyard. It wasn't long before the wood got warped and cracked from the rain. It was really sick, but now it sucks. We put a lot of work into it, and wanna keep it skateable. He said that we should water seal it, but that that would be too slick. Skatepaint seems too expensive, and my friend called me a kook when he suggested that he put a tarp over it.
