Back Heels:
I find this easier than the heelflip because it flows better and feels smoother.
You need to know the heelflip and the back 180 ollie, learning nose manual pivots are also useful because if you don't do the full 180 you can pivot/powerslide the rest...
Set up for a heelflip, or an ollie, because I think toes hanging off are ugly.
Start you backside 180 ollie, make sure to do a 180 with your shoulders, not your hips, because if you whip that shoulder around, your hips will follow.
When you hear that popping noise, don't drag your front foot straight up for a heelflip, drag it diagonally backside and kick that heel off the edge of the nose, your board should flip, finish flipping and reach it's peak at about 90 degrees, now finish off the rotation by rotating the last 90 on the way down, it's quite hard to get a clean 180, so if you are doing it flatground, just powerslide the rest. When you land backwards, some people have the tendency to land leaning slightly on their front foot, as in heelflips. But since you land backwards on back heels, shift your weight slightly onto your back foot as you land, so you don't shoot your board out. Now practice this one alot and you should get it within couple weeks.
Now go do it down el toro.
Remember to rotate shoulders first...that the key to this trick.
