the thing with complex manual combos is that once you get the balance points for each flip in/out you can do comfortable, its just a matter of mixing and matching. and some tricks are almost beneficial to think about doing out (for example if you b/s 180 to fkie manual, settin up to do a fakie f/s shuv out will correcting your swinging balance)

Lol I did that because I want to further my ollie ability. I mean, why learn a trick to quickly move on to another one, if you didn't even perfect the first one? I try and spend 1 hour on ollies and fundamentals before anything else.

I rolled at it REALLY fast and acid dropped it. I did a 4 that way to but I firecrackered the bottom steps.

I never really practice that way. I just do whats fun. And what was fun for me when I first started was carving down hills and doing bertlemens on banks.

Hell, I still go bombing hills every now and then.

i landed my first shuv it today. yesterday i landed my first railstand's/body varials. plus, i landed my first something i don't know the name of haha -- it's kind of flatland, start with the board upside down, my right foot is under the board near the bolts and the other foot is standing on the front side of the tail, i jump, push, flip, and land.

oh, i almost got a kickflip today too. it was the first one i was trying today stationary and i did it perfect....unfortunately i couldn't land it -- i was so freaking shocked it actually spun like i wanted it to, i just landed on my feet and watched lol. every other one i tried failed miserably and i just threw the board forward :P. oh well.

Nollie 360 shove its! The frontside ones that just scuttle round on the ground. I had never actually tried them before other than in games of skate which would fail.

I just learned shove its and FS shove its tonight...That's right guys. I've never been able to do shove its. I have no idea why, but it was only on shoves that I could never get my front foot on the board. I've been able to do Tre Flips and Varials, and even Big Spins. I just could NEVER EVER to save my soul, land a SHOVE IT.

So, basically I spent about 2 hours tonight in my basement, going back and forth trying to get the shove it. I really got some progress. I even landed a few...Not perfect, but I think I've just about learned it.

Tail fingerflip tail nosehook impossibes.
Front 180 to tailstop halfcab fingerflip (like kickflip direction, the hard way).
Tailstop halfcab fingerflip to pivot to shove it.
Tailstop to nose 50/50 thrown forwards and out.
Casper shove 3/4 flip to rail, 3/4 flip out.
Nosestop pulled up to 50/50, down to nosestop and a very quick varial underflip out of it.

And my best freestyle trick ever: tailstop 1/2 fingerflip to 50/50 thrown backward into a nosecasper, shove it out.

Very close to nosecasper varial flip to caspers...

I am so proud of my Cabs. I never imagined a 360 ollie could be so easy!

But I also hit up a ramp for the first time in a while and moved some miniramp tricks into a 6-7 footer halfpipe.

I got a Rock to Fakie in my first 5 minutes then went back the next day and got: Rock and Rolls, and a fakie kickturn into a Rock and Roll.

But our area is really big on flat land and I was one of the last people to learn the switch flips, but since then this week i've learned switch bs flip and nollie bs flips

On the quater pipe, it's hard to learn anything new because i'm the only person who skates it at my standard... But i've put together a few random tricks and pulled away a tre-fs rock, and fakie halfcab blunt kickflip to fakie

I can't say anything much else, But i laser flipped a gap at our park... First gap laser, and i kickfliped a 9 set out in the streets :D

Heh thanks, I love that trick now, and it's pretty easy to do with speed too, mine aren't that clean yet but I hope I'll improve this with time, it's one of my new favorite tricks now.

I pretty much got frontside flips, its just their a bit sketchy, and I land at 90 degrees and have to revert the other 90 out.

I STILL cant do consistant tre flips though, it takes 20, actually even more tries to do them. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, and I can't put up a help video because my laptop is down, so hopefully I'll learn them while I save $450 for an Acer Laptop.

I learned regular big spins the other day. I can only do them on flat, and their a bit sketchy, but I'll work on them.

I will work on a lot of tricks when I get the chance to skate (probably tomorow) when my driveway dries up from what feels like endless rain, and I hopefully will get 360 flips down and also work on Shove-it underflips, FS Flips, and clean up the big spins.

I finally, finally, FINALLY can do 360 flips. Their slightly consistand and kinda sketchy, but I'm glad I can land them, and I can set them in games of skate now.

kind of fs flips. i get them like 1/10 tries. they are hard but im almost there

Pressureflip fakies on banks, fingerflip fakies on banks.

Also this trick on shallow banks which I love:

Backside nosepivot into a quick nosestop, grabbing the tail at the same time with the front hand and pulling up into a 50/50 stand, 1/2 flipping out to drop back in again. :)

Mostly now I'm just refining the trick I have. Getting more height and speed on them.

I just beat my personal record and learned 16 new tricks in a day today (some of them are just tricks I could already do on flat done on a bank, but I personally count adaptations as new tricks) :

- switch f/s grind switch f/s 180 outs (I had never tried them before)

And last but not least :

- helipop heel-side pressure flips (nollie pressure 360 b/s flips), I'm particularly stoked on this one :)

not actually new tricks at all, but really a new appreciation of previously stinking combos

pop shuv manual- late hard out (annoying to flip out with the board the wrong way)
kickflip manual- hammer flip out

and manual varial heel around a manual pad with a tight curve to it.

i dont know what this trick is called, but it is a nollie 360 shuv (i dont know if its b/s or f/s its whatever way a nollie lazer goes, i think its b/s) and while its spinning my back foots' toes scoop under it and make it like kickflip, so its like a nollie 360 backfoot hardflip or something? idk ill put a video up sometime when i get home from spring break and see if anyone knows what it is
