I have a set of wheels that came on a mini 'old skool' (fish shape) deck sometime in the 90's, have recently started using them and I think they might be the best wheels I've ever used.
They're yellow, never had a logo or brand name, 55 mm tall, 41 mm wide, solid.
They screech nicely when sliding, come back to earth with a satisfying 'clack' when ollieing, but aren't so rock hard that every little pebble locks them up or that I sound like a moving machine gunner nest when rolling down the sidewalk/street.
So - I'm guessing they are probably hardness mid-80's or low 90's.
Agree?

The point of the question is that I would like to get replacement wheels in that hardness/size when these go bye-bye. At this point, I'm thinking the mid-80's Retro wheels might be close.

Hi i'm looking to find wheels to cruising my town

my wheels was 54mm 97a, that are good for park/ramps and smooth concrete

but when i go on roadway or sidewalks they're so useless, too uncomfortable, too rough asphalt.

so i think to buy some new wheels to swap when i wanna go on the road, i buyed these Hubba 80's 56mm 80a Wheels (on some sites are declared that are for cruising).

i tried these wheels and are so better, but insufficent, and they're so expensive :icon_frow

so, for you guys, what's the definitive wheels for me? i don't want to buy a longboard.

my setup is: _independent trucks 139 standard
_blank deck (more than 8")

i have two sets of risers if need, one of 1/4 and one 1/8

tnx
