    Default Who or what company designed the modern shaped board?

    Im just curious about this.Who or what company designed the modern "popsickle stick" shape boards we commonly skate today.I know they first came around at about around '92.

    I know Rodney Mullen had a huge part in the modern popsicle shaped board, Mike V had a board, it was like the first one of that shape. I forget what it was called.

    I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong, since I know freestyle shapes are usually somewhat popsicle shaped as well.

    the mike v animal house board on world industries is was one of the first popsicle shaped decks

    Yup. I had one of those World Industries Mike V barnyard boards. He skated it in the video "Rubbish Heap".
