No brakes, no foot retention on the conversion?

    Makes me sad.

Anyways, I got on my bike the other day. Did a short, fast ride. Knocked out 15 miles in just about half an hour, was running late for a meet-up ride with my friends. I surprisingly I was able to keep riding after that lol.

Yep. It's a two-day event (road race, crit, and TT), but I can only take one of the days off of work.

I crashed with a lap to go. Split my fork. Learned my lesson about cornering. I didn't stand a chance, anyway... My strong points are climbing and endurance. Not exactly fit for a criterium that's flat as a pancake.

I'm hoping to be back on the road by next week. Until then, helloooooo jogging.

Lately I have been riding some with a few friends on a crappy Mongoose for fun. My friend found an old bike of his that just needs new tubes, so hopefully we will go on some sick rides soon.

I attempted a 60 mile trip yesterday. Not quite in shape for that. Or have the proper bike for it, i imagine.

My old 88' Schwinn Prologue TT conversion. I miss it.

here is a side picture of a similar conversion, it was defiantly a head turner.

That TT pursuit frame is ridiculous.. lol. I haven't been on a bike in 2 weeks because I'm still waiting on a new fork. Doesn't feel good man.

It was so awkward to get used to. but i'd like to build another one up someday. A lot of people would call it a 'funny bike'. Going over the bars wasn't too fun either hah.

What kind of bike do you have? Once you get over 30 or 40 miles, the geometry and fit of your bike really start getting crucial.
