If it wasn't for the Suicide Machines and that song above, specifically, I wouldn't love Ska as much as I do, now.

Linoleum is okay, but wait until Sick and Sad starts, you will probably need to change your pants.

Posted this in Random Thought, but I'll put it in here, as well.

Went to a ridiculous ska show last night. First, Survay Says, a localish ska band, then The Rudie Crew, who were amazing, after that the Hub City Stompers, who after their last song played an impromptu cover of "Any Way You Want It" (which blew me the **** away), then finally The ****ing Toasters. Bob Hingley was walking around all night, and I kept pointing him out to my girlfriend. They were amazing, and I had a great view of the whole show. Got to the place at 6:30, left around 1 am. Haha

I've never been a big ska fan (would go as far to say i generally don't like it).
This said, i love Mr Bungle who had a very heavy ska influence on their first album, which remains one of my all-time favourites. It's just generally bonkers.

Dan Regan of RBF had this up on Facebook, I thought it was pretty funny.

So many people claim to be ska fans, then just like Streetlight, and Rbf, and Less Than Jake. Not that I don't like them (although LTJ is a little too poppy sometimes) there is so much more to ska music than just those three.
