Good luck over square wheels (wider than taller) are not common. Even Centrax are only 77mmx68mm

Ordered my Jerk, now I play the waiting game, the hardest game of all. Sucks that the weather is going to be so nice this weekend (supposedly), it would be a much easier wait if it was going to be crap out! Next week I'm ordering the trucks I want for it (for the time being., I'll just slap my Randal's on), then when my financial aid comes to me maybe I'll splurge on some really good wheels and bearings.

I won't get super expensive ones then. Haha, and I love my Randal's, but I really want a set of Paris trucks. Ahhh, word is that my board is in the mail.

Paris trucks shorten the wheelbase alot causing wheelbite. Something the think about Rus doesn't like Paris trucks (he had a number of sets of early trucks fail on him) or Bear trucks so he doesn't take them into account when he builds boards. But Randals, Revenges and Hybrid Indy's are trucks that are used by most of the people in factory

Hmm, so is THAT why so many people make PRandal's? I was always wondering what that was all about. I still do want another pair of trucks though, so maybe if they don't work out, I could just toss the Paris trucks on my FSM. Thanks for the heads up, Xgecko!

Paris on an FSM can lead to scary bite Look at .50Calibers or Gullwings if you don't want to use Randals. Of course the FSM likes Hybrid Indy's

God damn, you're just full of bad news, today. Haha I've got my blank RKP trucks if anything goes scary wrong with the Paris trucks though. Or I could just make some PRandal's..

Getting a new longboard hopefully because my sector 9 is sketchy for downhill. Anyone have information about the doppler with randals? I'm also going to be using cult classic wheels.

I found a review on the Doppler, which wasn't very positive, Randal's are great trucks though, that's about all I have an opinion on.

I'm just getting the doppler because I have no money and I want a freestyle/downhill board. MONEY!

Well, if you don't mind spending a tiny bit more, go for an Earthwing Supermodel. When I was picking out my first board it was recommended left and right.

100 bucks. Little more than the Doppler, BUT it has a great reputation.

Randals are fine, the Jet Doppler is more of a freeride board than a DH board same with Cult Classics

I read freestyle as freeride. Whoops. I'm not even sure what counts as freestyle when it comes to longboarding, actually..

I used to want the earthwing supermodel until I saw how little the tails were. No chance of shuvits. Yeah I guess the downhill can be changed to freeride.
