The jets look pretty nice. I already went and bought the Peaches slide-through drop deck. I'm curious about the "tub" design concave. Sounds pretty interesting. They're also doing some promo where it's basically buy one get another free. You paint up the deck and record it and you get another. I'll go halfers with someone else on this if you want cuz I'll feel ****ing weird with three longboards and a half-cocked idea on how to use them.

Ok, I feel better now haha. I do need some people to skate with though. I find it easier to wuss out without anyone encouraging me or showing me that something is "do-able". I won't always have my girlfriend following me on a bike calling me a ****ing pussy for foot braking instead of charging all the way down.

Do you have a helmet? Honestly, I feel a lot more ballsy when skating with one on (even without other people.) I don't really wear one cruising, though.

Edit: Ah, that blue lacquer Jerk...

I have a helmet and I also have a protec ace helmet on its way.

The things that flash through my mind are "You don't have health insurance" and "If you break something, how will you pay for it?"

Lately I've just been riding through rough and ****ty terrain to see exactly what I can roll over and whatnot to give me more confidence. Also, there aren't any "non-busy" streets around here and I'm right next to a college. People just shoot around corners without really caring whats on the other side. I've almost been hit a couple of times already and it's kind of a buzzkill.

The biggest buzzkill is when people **** with you in their cars on purpose.

Went for a skate to learn some stuff. I forgot Coleman's a while ago. Learned them in a day, but I usually just charged down stuff, every time trying them after I slid out and died. Anyway, got them back, they're ****ty and I end up doing a full 180 and coming to a stop on my butt. Tried learning toeside 180's. Got close to a few, but near the end my legs started hurting (I've been running a few miles every night after work to try and get back into better shape), so I gave up and called it a day. Even though I generally control my speed through speed checks and foot braking I think it's a good idea that I relearn/ get my basics 100% down. Now to learn some switch...

Also, my Jerk is magical, I saw it go straight under a car (right down the middle) and I chased after it and it popped back out the front again. Wormhole?

TRIPLE POST. Doing a bit of Spring cleaning, selling some Original S6 trucks, an Original Torpedo 40, and my Landyachtz Switch clone. Might add more to that since I have a ton of regular skate stuff. Hopefully one of the rich kids in that facebook thing I joined for skaters in my county will jump on these AMAZING DEALS so that I can possibly buy a car..

Well, I don't really recommend Original trucks, but I guess possibly 25 dollars? S6's are only 150mm, so they might be a little small. And nah, no wheels, I actually need some myself. Haha

What of yours do you recommend? I was thinking of putting the mission 1 trucks on the "free" deck I might be getting but I don't think I've heard much good about them so I don't think I'd use it.

My friend rides some Mission 1s. They're quite narrow but they ride okay.
I suggest Calibers if you're looking at cast trucks (Paris Buck and Gunmetal are all good too), Indy 215s if you're going TKP.

The Landyachtz clone is pretty good, but you have the Churchill deck coming! Unless you mean trucks, I'd suggest Randal's, but I plan on keeping those. Haha

Honestly, I was hoping some rich kid in the facebook group I joined would snap it all up. Original is based in my town, so there are lots of fanboys willing to shell out money.

I had a dream I had a set of Ronin trucks. Apparently in my dream I also had a disgusting amount of disposable income. And Donovan, the apple looks good. I really want one of their double kick decks, but I'm saving up for a Wolfshark (yeah, decided I wanted it.) Ha

Edit: Wolfy pic, since Donovan probably hasn't seen one, yet.
