This isn't going over well among the physics community. It may be some time before many skeptics are convinced. But then they have all the time in the world and then some right?

This is where science is awesome.

If this was something dumb like religion. You would have a new religion coming out of an old one. JESUS WASN'T VISITED BY 3 WISE MEN, THEY WERE 4 MAN!!! FOOTPRINTS FOUND!

It hasn't been proven yet, but congratulations for jumping to conclusions.

I also like how people are saying this makes time travel possible.

It still isn't going over well in the physics community. What's the problem?

Figure out a way to make nuclear chain reactions feasible for a propulsion application. It would take sooooo much energy.
    Back 3 kickflip?

Particles that could be accelerated to beyond the speed of light have been discovered before. It won't mean anything until we can get matter to the speed of light for time travel.

Whilst that would be cool, and being able to travel that fast to literally see the past would be pretty sick, would I be right in saying that you couldn't actually affect anything, just be able to see what happened?

I mean like that kind of time travel is different to the idea that everyone has in their head?

People just don't seem to understand you have to get it up to 88mph and that you only have to generate 1.21gigawatts

Wasn't it 88 mph in 1988? Time is relative so we'll need at least 111 mph in 2011 right?

This, if anything makes time travel even more difficult, lol. According to Stephan hawking if we could get a train to F(x)lim<- then we would be able to time travel at an exponentional pace, but now that the limit is no longer light speed, we haven't a clue.
