Cool little toy, but haven't seen anything too impressive shot with it.

I meant in terms of skateboarding footage. Does anyone know of any good skate videos shot with it?

GoPro's are awesome! But you have to know how to use them. You can get some great footage. We use them here in the warehouse all the time with the team riders.

It's your call in the end, i just dont really like the look of all go pro videos. They are practically indestructible though which makes them pretty sweet

I have one and think its all sorts of fun. Not a great primary camera, but still a very fun and useful one. I typically use it for shooting time lapses, not skating though.

You need good light for the video to look good. At night its grainy and awful. Even in places I thought were well lit, the footage didn't come back as great as expected.

Notice that everything in that video is shot during the daytime. The couple shots that are shot at night are time lapses. Its pretty good at shooting those at night.

Attach it long pole and get overheads and boom shots... stuff you wouldn't normally see. Attach it to an old ski pole and get low angle stuff. RC Car? Kite photography of your park? Sure, why not? Its creative and fun that way.

Using a GoPro HD Hero to Create Stunning Videos. The HD HERO models are capable of filming in full 1080p HD. Both models are designed to give the best footage in normal daylight conditions but can be used in lower light conditions as well.
