I think that would be front side, not sure. I always thought, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, that is concidered the direction you spun when you were facing forwards (either regular or switch)

I haven't stepped on a street board in about 8 months. Haha. The board I skate now is a popsicle, but it's 9 and a half inches wide. I think you'd be safe.
