yeah forsure its good to have a range and do lots of stuff what i meant was though and it was just an assumption that was probably wrong, is that by stating just your leg press i thought maybe youd based your leg progress on that, which wouldnt be good because leg press has like no resemblance of actual human motion and most people have terrible form which lets them put up really high weight on it which isn't an accurate gauge. squats are all around just a better thing to do, just food for thought <3

Yea, agreed. Some people have horrible form on leg press, indeed. Squats are so much more than your legs, and are a great exercise. Plus, you know exactly how good your form is on squats.

I need to work some other muscles I haven't done as much of. Lately, I haven't done a lot of abs/obliques and back workouts, will do some forearm stuff, and need to do some more shoulder stuff, maybe step up my weight on military press or something.

I currently lost ~12 pounds the last month, only by reducing the food and sweets. Only check that you are lower then 2000 Kilokalories per day.
And don't be a Hostage of your Libra, you will feel if you loose wight without looking on a scale.

I used to love the Winter, but I'm getting kind of restless. I hate the cold, so I haven't been working out, and I've sort of stopped eating right, but I'm ordering a bike trainer and diving right back in. I'm hoping if all goes well, by the middle of Spring I should be good to go for a 5 or 10k. I don't want to be in amazing shape, but I want to not look as doughy. Haha, I'm still pretty skinny, but eh. So, bike trainer. maybe some ankle and wrist weights for when I can get out running or to the park for frisbee and basketball again, and I'm going to go back to the whole watching what I eat thing. Granola bar or something in the morning to get my metabolism going, then a bike ride or some other cardio, a salad for lunch afterwards (with chicken and mushrooms and some hot peppers, so I'm still getting calories and protein and stuff), then I'm going to try to go back to nothing, but water. Lately I've been drinking lots of crap, and I really feel it compared to over the Summer when I was doing great and eating right. Anyway, I'll keep all you guys posted. Anybody else been doing anything, lately?

During the spring and summer I usually have enough yard work and other activities to keep active. Late fall and winter will depend on skiing. I usually try to get some exercise in the month or weeks before the season starts then in between trips especially if I don't get to go much. Been twice so far and have a weekend trip planned next weekend. On day two of my ramp up exercises, and this is nothing strenuous, just some sit ups and push ups, I strained something in my middle back all the way up through my neck. It's taken a couple of days to go away, almost gone though.. It REALLY SUCKS getting old

Guess I can wear leg weights around the house every other day regardless. That will be better than nothing!

Anyway, how much skiing I actually do next Saturday will be directly dependent on what kind of prep work I can do to my body between now and then. At least we have a house right off the trails so I don't have to lose energy dealing with shucking gear from the parking lot for me and my kid..

I haven't snowboarded in a few years, but it takes so much out of your legs. I imagine skiing is the same. Haha

Lost 15 to 20 pounds since the beginning of the school year. I was actually motivated, my friend was in my weights class, we did similar weights and worked together. I bike to school every time it doesn't rain, but sometimes I bike through it anyway. Still skate almost every day, had a huge skate day today, so haggard right now.

Goal by the end of the school year is to bench 200 or over (close), do at least 20 chin-ups(done), and do at least 30 dips (could probably do it).

Quick question about bench pressing. When you say 200 do you mean you can do 100 on each side or 200 on each side or what? Cuz i can do 25 on each side lol and I don't know if I should tell people I bench 25 or 50.

you add the bar, so if you had a 25 pound plate on each side it'd be 50 + the bar (usually 45) = 95

I have to workout 3 times a week for gym class, so I'm doing cardio. I'm gonna try and lose my winter/beer/lazyslob/junkeater fat. Attempting to eat healthier too.
