Default A new shop just opened near me and I want to know if its legit.

Okay. Get this, I found a new shop near me cuz a kid at my school had a board from them. I asked him where it was and he said the local mall. I had a bad feeling about this place, but i scoped out the place anyway. As far as I know, big chain stores dont manufacture boards.

I walked in and this old (i dont wanna say old, but you know gray hair and all that.) Was setting up a deck for a kid and said "Yo dude. Welcome!" He had s thrasher shirt on and when not working was reading a thrasher issue or watching a video. I looked around and the place looked kinda legit. It was mainly a surf shop because the chick who owned it (and is hot) was a surfer. The old dude and the chick might be selling points, but still i looked around.

It doesnt sell that many shoes, a few Janoskis and Adidas or Emericas. One half of the shop is males clothing and the other half is females. They have a wall of decks and a cabinet of trucks wheels and stickers, all that jazz.

They made shop boards and beanies and shirts. I bought a sticker or two and got out. I want to know if this is a big chain store because if it is i really want nothing to do with it. I googled the name and they have a few stores all across South FL (Where I live.) Its closer to me then my local skateshop. I just wanna know, should I rep these guys or go with my local shop?

The shop name btw is BC Surf + Sport

Dolphin Mall in Sweetwater I'm guessing, right? Yeah, it was closed down and replaced for another outlet store. That's only if you live in the Miami area though.

I feel like only you can make the proper distinction between 'legit' or not, by going there and making you're own judgment. How are a bunch of strangers, that will never go to these two shops, going to tell you what is 'legitimate'?

I used to buy my Skimboarding **** at BC Surf and sport when they had a shop in Miami like a decade ago. They were pretty legit then. I think back then they had a shop in West Palm Beach and Miami. Looks like they've gotten pretty big since then.
