    Default Favorite albums/songs/artists?

Probably my favorite album of all time: Radiohead - In Rainbows

Been listening to these two a lot lately. Favorite albums of the year (well 2013) - Queens of the Stone Age - Like Clockwork / The Dodos - Carrier

Don't know where to place this one... Just a really good album. Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights

Don't listen to RHCP much at all anymore... due to over-listening when this came out...

    Other honorable mentions........

^^ Lot of good bands right there. When I played a shit ton of online poker for money I'd listen to a lot of Radiohead. It always put me in the zone and put me in a relaxed state of mind.

My taste is right there up with you guys plus a shit ton more. My musical taste has drastically grown over the past 5 years, too. I'm all over the place when it comes to genres. Music is just great in general. I can pretty appreciate anything these days. Really got into Dubstep and EDM lately. Became a huge The Weeknd fan way before he blew up. Him and Cudi are probably two of my favorite artists right now with also Kendrick Lamar (people know him for his mainstream shit but his stuff before he blew up is good). Also got into Phish lately. Can't believe I didn't listen to them more a lot earlier. Fuckin ayy, music is just simply awesome. I'd probably go insane if there wasn't any.

Col Bruce Hampton. He's kind of been compared to a "Redneck Frank Zappa". Especially his stuff with The Aquarium Rescue Unit. Ron since you've been getting into Phish lately Llama was inspired by the ARU.

Adding this one to my list. Also liked Lonerism but this album feels more solid overall.

On a side note, kind of disappointed with Beck's new album. It got a lot of praise but all the songs sound the same (and a LOT like sea change). No memorable tracks either...

Probably my favorite two albums are Mothership by LZ and DSOTM by Pink Floyd.

Songs from each are from Mothership, between Kashmir and Stairway. From DSOTM probably Time.

DSOTM is one of those "Trancy" albums that flows really well and were probably designed to be listened to on LSD xD So idk if you could really consider it to have "songs," more like just different parts of one 42 minute 49 second giant song.
