Default How to fix a snapped skateboard deck

Sounds and grinds like a truck. Metal custom cut to proportions @ speedymetals.com, I used aluminum. Easy to drill through, make a divit and just use the wright bit.

It's cool that you're trying to preserve your board and stuff, but (and no offence meant here) why wouldn't you just buy another deck?

It's only like, what, $20 for a blank? The metal probably cost more than that.

Oh, and unless it's some kind of alloy, raw aluminium bends WAY easily. I hope it's heat treated or a composite.

What we've got is someone that will try anything to avoid buying a new deck hahahaha... Imagine landing a hippie jump or drop not quite on those bolts LOL!

I haven't had trouble with them bending yet. You can get stainless steel for pretty cheap too. Probably a little harder to drill through, but it's available.
