Default shin guards / lower leg protection

I learned no-handed pogos the other day. I am jonesing to practice these more to get them on lock. However, I have a large collection of bruises on my inner calf from the kingpin and my other knee from the nose of the board. Currently, I try to strategically place some old soccer shin guards, but they dont offer much coverage and move around alot.

I searched through the archives and found that some people had gotten hardcore knee-high shin guards from decomposed skates. They seem pretty popular among freestylers. Unfortunately, they do not seem to be available on the decomposed website.

Anyone know where else they are available? Or something comparable?

    Thanks

Just use shin guards for BMX, like scabs or Dsg.
they are pretty much the same. Decomposed to not carry em anymore officially.

But you can find shin guard on ebay or anywhere they sell bmx stuff

I use them since years.... the only downside they start smell like hell and you need change em about every 6 months to 1 year ( they get pretty f up over time)

I have not been able to find the smith scabs shin guards in my size anywhere! The closest thing I've found online are sixsixone riot shin guards. The major difference, from what I can see on pictures, is they lack the horseshoe shape on the bottom, so the do not protect the medial and lateral malleolus of the ankle.

Has anyone tried these? Are they comparable to Smith Scabs?
