    Hello Everyone!

    I was looking for an answer, and i came to know about this forum. I was looking for an answer of the question, How a beginner should choose their first skateboard?

    More Specifically, tips/advice on choosing first skateboard?

    What kind of skating, skatepark, cruising, downhill, street, tricks?? Figure out what kind of skating you want to start out with then get something compatible with that type of use.

    First thing's first - go to a local skateshop that'll let you stand on a board and...well, do it. The more boards you can get your feet on, the better. That'll give you a better idea of what board you like. Skateboards have concave and kicktails...if either one is too steep for you to feel comfortable on, it's not going to be fun to ride. If it's not fun to ride, you won't ride it, and you will have wasted your hard-earned money.
