    Default Help deciding on new equipment

    My friend who introduced me to skating just sold the board he was letting me borrow(not to me), so id like you to take a look at what ive decided (for now) to get (i skate mostly street cruising and vert)

    Bullet trucks 140mm

    Gold cup stokems wheels 57mm

    Shake Junt tripple og abec 7 bearings

    (i already bought a deck from my shop) its a PWK 7.75

    If the wheels hit the deck when turning hard you might want to add some small risers, also rides smoother. But, lower is better for landing tricks, risers may be better for park skating.

    Wheel bite slams are the worse. Options include: tighting the trucks, risers, or smaller wheels.
    To follow up with NoSwitch's comment, if you decide to ad risers, check the length of your hardware (screws attaching the trucks). It's a lot less frustrating to pick up risers and hardware at the same time.

    Remember that tightening the crap out of your bushings does nothing but compress 'em and limit your motion as well, so you'll just be ping-ponging off of the extents. Harder bushings are a better option to tighten your trucks, as a harder bushing increases resistance to turning, which is a much better option.
