Was it really an old lady the guy pushed in Pretty Sweet? WTF

Edit: The guy is Vincent Alvarez. How did I not recognize him? I have his Lakai model shoe.

When I was in 8th grade weight training class, first class of the morning at like 7:30 am, the coach played Rumors EVERY DAY of the entire quarter. I still hear in on those "OH CRAP back in school" nightmares everybody gets sometimes. I have it on CD, and still like it some. But it does always evoke some memories of working out early in the morning.

haha that is a good way to ruin that album. I used to have an ihome alarm clock that woke me up every morning for school and it always played the first song in alphabetical order on my ipod and it was Adam's Song by Blink-182. That song gives me the worst feeling everytime I hear it now.

Don't text and drive kids. Saw this on the way home from the store today. There were actually lots of people stopped, directing traffic, etc but police and rescue had not arrived on the scene yet. Solo car wreck at 1pm on a Saturday. Really looks like they veered off the road then over corrected trying to get back. Doh!

I figured out what the "driving mode" on my phone does a while back. It's probably saved my life a few times at this point. Lets you do everything hands free.

So I took this girl out today to see The Conjuring today...and the last half of Kick Ass 2. Didn't get her home until like 3am lol. Both were pretty damn good though. I would recommend either.

I saw the conjuring a few weeks ago, it was pretty entertaining but
I felt like it kind of didnt really have a plot haha
any relationship that matters - a friendship, a family, a romance, a band - anything - is a perilous and fragile thing because along with all the amazing experiences and creations that can come from something so intimate and exhausting comes the possibility for things to crumble and shatter or whither and die. when that happens, it's easy to forget what was precious amidst all the disaster. we should always carry our history with us but never let it bury us.

Yeah, the whole bit in the beginning with the doll seemed kind of pointless. It attacked the dudes daughter randomly in the middle of the movie. That's the only thing didn't make sense to me. It had the typical possession/exorcism story line though.

Sounds good to me. I really think that more local contests and loose organizations at lower, local park levels are needed in skating at this point. There are more than enough pretty good skaters out there. Perhaps some competitions would bring more opportunities for the local shredders to form more teams actually get the higher level attention and sponsorship they deserve. It would also help out local shops in a symbiotic way as shops sponsor skaters at the events and skaters bring the friends they make traveling around to these events to their local shops when they need something/break something.

My local shop does that alot. They've built their own park and when it's summer there are alot of events (BBQ, Sales and Demos). But yeah this was the first time I skated a contest and I didn't even come close to the second worst
skater haha. Still had alot of fun.
