Give her a present she'll really enjoy, like letting Rev hit all the walls.

Also, Shorty don't get too excited. She could still get an abortion.

Wishing you all safe travels and good time with friends and family over the next two days. I gave myself a couple vintage G&S decks and a what else I needed to complete them for a pretty full and complete 1970s Gordan and Smith collection..

None are quite 100% mint, couple are close.. all are 100% ridable though..

I am just having a brainstorm. I was thinking about an online music venue. It would be streaming. For free there would be a wide angle full screen shot from the back of the room of the full stage and for a fee you would get the view up close from different cameras like you would if you were up front at a show. There would also be a merch section of the site where you could buy t-shirts and other things. Perhaps edited dvds of the shows and possibly live audio either cds or mp3s . Also if you lived in the area you could come out to the shows.

    Any opinions?

Went to New Orleans last week and flew home on Christmas. Had a crazy good time but still recovering. Here it is Thursday and no matter how much coffee I drink I can not stay awake at my desk!

My brother in law plays some venues where the shows are streamed live online. I suspect big name acts don't do that to prevent piracy.. And limit supply of access to their big money shows. If you can watch it online for $20 they'd sell fewer $120 show tickets.. We played a place back in the 80s with several camera angles and they'd film the shows for us with the sound tech occasionally switching camera angles. Not much by today's standards, but pretty cool back then to have a video tape of the shows..

Getting buzzed at work. I know that I can get my client fed, bathed, changed, teeth brushed, and set up on his computer moderately buzzed and no one is going to get hurt. I try to drink at work only when it is a holiday, we have a cookout, or when I've been called in at the last minute and have been drinking before hand.

I tried that once in college. I pounded 2 beers and a shot of Jager right before walking out the door to class, timing it just right so the buzz would hit me in the first 10 minutes of class. It worked, my timing was impeccable, but it took a boring class and made it boringer. Nobody wants to learn about accounting when your head is abuzz, and you'd rather think about the smokin' hot brunette in the front row than balance sheets and credits and debits.

I've had a couple jobs where the owner was cool with us having a beer,. maybe two at lunch once in awhile. However, whenever a client complained about anyone smelling of alcohol, weed, or being drunk or stoned and it turned out to be true to him when we returned to the shop anybody that wasn't absolutely critical was fired immediately... anyone critical was quickly replaced as soon as they found another qualified person..
