Thanks Rev J. So wishing/hoping == intent? I guess I'm screwed but I'm working on it. I don't actively hope or pray for bad things to happen, but there is a dark corner of my mind that keeps whispering, "Well good! You deserve what you got a-hole. See how it feels?"
I perceive that the US is splintering badly. People with left & right leaning beliefs are arriving at protests armed and the shooting has started.... e.g. Kyle Rittenhouse - poster child for the right. Misinformation has taken off e.g QAnon. I find all of this disconcerting.

Did anybody notice that Trumps misinformation and pandemic leadership is more severely impacting his base and states governed by Republican governors?

It is.. but it's a much higher number % of minority and eldery people ultimately dying or getting very ill in those states. It's like he's sending out unmasked COVID suicide bombers to infect the entire community so people who aren't likely to vote for him die.
Then he rolls around the hospital in a motorcade waving like he's Pinochet.
