    anyone here skate jersey/nyc often?
    i skate hoboken a lot and manhattan, mostly jersey. anyone from around there?

    Im in central jersey, but whenever im in ny i skate that (about every 2 weeks)
    Check out NJ skate shop they just opened in hoboken if you haven't already.

    central jersey, howell actually. i was considering going to hoboken for a skate trip once. i heard there are some really good spots there..but it be like a hour+ ride

    yeah the spots are pretty nice and the skatepark is fun too but its all a bust, even the park if you dont have a helmet. but usually you can get to skate it unless the cops have a power trip and feel the need to p iss kids off and kick em out. its only like 10 mins away from where i live but hours, idk if its worth it

    I live in south jersey, get on the patco for $4.00 and ride into Philly. theres so much to skate in Philly. Also, if you think where you live has no spots, just drive around looking and you will find something, so many buisnesses are perfect for skating, and schools around here atleast, usually are decent.

    Moved this here as this section is where it should be. I put it here since most seem to be in Jersey as is the original poster. Anyhow, I'm also in Jersey now, but work in Mahattan. How old are ya?

    I went to hoboken once theres not a lot to skate,we got stoped by the cops twice =\

    Born and Raised in Brooklyn.....I skated Manhattan/Harlem(Born in the Bronx)/Brooklyn/Queens/Some Parts of North Jersey/Philly/Some Beach in Central Jersey....basically all over....sadly now I live in Maine...

    Hoboken = Racist. Cops don't like skaters in general, but you get extra trouble when you're dark. Take it from a Jersey native.
