    no i like the feeling of being low (i use low trucks and 51's)

    risers would kinda defeat the purpose.

    hell no, they're not necessary, and a waste of money. and they look gay, as well as add some weight for your placebo ness

    I used too.. but I took them off today when my truck broke, and stuck to the riser pad, so I'm using my friends ventures until I can afford some royals.

    i use smallish wheels and really tight trucks so there is no point for me to use risers

    Nah. I always feel stupid when I have them. Not sure why.
    I think it just looks/feels better without them on.

    They make my ride a bit smoother and I never get any pressure cracks with them so why not...
