    never ride without em.
they prevent pressure cracks sooooo well. and they do rise ur board a bit, but it's not too noticeable.

I ride 60mm wheels and silly loose trucks it's a requirement though I'm usually getting just a little wheelbite as I still try to stay low

Risers prevent wheelbite (wheels nicking board when landing and possibly locking up).

Loose trucks, low trucks, big wheels make it more likely to have wheel bite.

nope dont use them. I had thin rubber ones on an old deck a long time ago because of this pressure crack deal. It never made a difference though in my opinion. Usually by the time i get pressure cracks anyways if the deck hasnt broken it gets retired for being to soggy feeling and i either give it away or it goes in the trash.

When I started skating I didn't bother to buy risers. A day later the board snapped in half. Now I ride em, nothing like that has ever happened again. Moral of this story, use risers!
