    Default Arm Protection

I'm looking for some good, affordable pads or other kind of protection for my elbows AND forearms. As habit from snowboarding and other things, if I fall forward I tend to land on my forearm which is not good in a tshirt. Maybe something like those useless things all the basketball players are wearing, but protective. Anybody know of anything?

either slide gloves coupled with some elbow pads, OR hit up goodwill or something and get some little kid's hockey shinguards. those should fit on your forearms and not be too expensive.

You could get a wrist brace that goes up your arm or some sort of sweet band.

    hmm

i watched a camp woodward episode where a kid just cut the ankle's and toes off a few socks and put like three layers of those on his elbows/forearms.

it could be worth a shot to try that. i think they even look less geeky than real elbow pads.

Yeah, thanks for the suggestion, but I can see layered socks ripping up in a minute. Kids sized knee/shin guards might work though. I was checking out the juniors Double Down pads for just that.

If you watch the movie `Jaws' backwards, it's a movie about a shark that keeps throwing up people until they have to open a beach.

Just get a thick longsleeve shirt
and cut the sleeves off then sew them to the arms of a normal t-shirt
it will look like your wearing 2shirts but it wont feel like one (in reguard to being hot)

I don't remember what it's called exactly, but they sell this stuff and you can get it and slide it up your arm. It's the same stuff that they make wetsuits for rafting and scuba diving with.

Actually I remember it's called neoprene.

learn tres and get bigspins more consistent niiiig

If I roll, I'm still gonna tear up my arms. And as for sliding on my ass, I can do that. Hands down best place to fall. But if I fall forward it's pretty hard to get my ass to take the hit.

Yeah I know, my sister is your age, but in a few years you probabely won't feel as great as you did a couple years ago (according to my brother in law whom is 28 and still skates). Though I have to agree the paintball pads are really cool looking.
