Grinds/Slides
5-0 – A grind where your board is centered over the rail and only your back truck is touching the rail. A good way to think of it is like a manual on a rail.
50-50 – A grind where your board is centered over the rail and both your trucks are on the rail.
Bluntslide – Ollie over tail slide
Boardslide – A slide where your board slides on the rail on the middle of the board. The board should be perpendicular to the rail.
Casper Slide – Slide on the box in a Casper position
Crooked Grind – A grind where your front truck is on the rail, and your tail is pointing up and away from the object.
Darkslide – A Boardslide where you slide on the griptape.
Feeble Grind – A grind where your back truck is on the rail and your front truck is hanging over the left side of the rail.
Hurricane – A grind where you 180 onto the rail, and have your front truck on the rail, with your back truck hanging off the right side of the rail (think a smith grind on the front truck).
Lipslide – A boardslide where the tail of your board goes over the rail first.
Nose Blunt Slide – Ollie over nose slide.
Nose Slide – A slide where the nose of the board slides on the rail, with your front truck next to the rail (your board should be about perpendicular to the rail).
Over-Crooked Grind – Ollie over the rail and land in a Crook grind (if you approach the rail frontside, you land in a backside Crook, and vice versa).
Sandbag Grind – A smith grind where your front truck hangs much lower –almost pointing straight at the ground.
Salad – A 5-0 grind, but your back truck is slightly tweaked away and off from the rail, yet you still slide on your back truck. Your front truck is pointed up and away from the rail as well.
Smith Grind – A grind where your back truck is on the rail and your front truck is hanging over the right side of the rail.
Suski Grind - 5-0 with your front truck pointing away from the rail
Tail Slide – A slide where the tail of the board slides on the rail, with your back truck next to the rail (your board should be about perpendicular to the rail).
Willy/Lazy Grind – A Crook Grind with the back truck hanging down.
