The Heelflip
(written by ‘misled user’)

Foot Placement
Start off in an Ollie position. However, place your front foot so that your toes are hanging over the toeside edge your board. Point your front foot at about 45 degrees towards the nose as well. This makes it easier for the flip.

How To Do A Heelflip
1. The Heelflip is kind of like a Kickflip, so do about the same motion. Pop and begin dragging your foot up towards the toeside edge of your board.
2. When your heel makes contact with the concave of the nose, kick out and downwards (just like a Kickflip). This will spin the board.
3. Once you kick out, start to bring your foot back onto the board to catch it.
4. Watch your board and catch it when you see the grip tape roll around again. Catch the board with your back foot first and then use your front foot to stabilize it.
