The
Pop Shove-It
(written by ‘misled user’)
First Off
You can do a Pop Shove-It moving or stationary.
It’s probably a good idea to try it out a few times on carpet first,
to get the hang of the jump and the spin, and then go to moving along
at a comfortable speed.
Foot Placement
Set up as if you were going to do and Ollie,
but put your back foot in the ‘pocket’ of the tail, or on the edge.
This is very important, as it gives the board the spin.
How To Do A Pop Shove-It
1. Bend down low, as if
you were going for a huge ollie.
2. Smack the tail down and
to the side with your rear foot. Get that front foot out of the way!
3. Watch the board underneath
you. If it goes a little bit to the side, stay over it by jumping.
It’s very important to watch the board and catch it neatly.
4. Land over the trucks. If
you want to make your Pop Shove-Its look better, jump higher and pop
a bit less, and then slam down on the trucks.
